  He's one of Hungary's best-known footballers, having played almost 300 Bundesliga games for Mainz, Hoffenheim, Schalke, Hannover and Stuttgart, and spent his early career in the Real Madrid reserves. Before retiring from the Hungarian national team, he was captain and wore the national team jersey 86 times. He has been an important part of Hungary's great successes in recent years. He led the national team in two European Championships, scoring two goals and assisting one at these tournaments. As captain, he was recognised and admired by all and was a role model for his young teammates.
